Wenlock Olympian Games Success

Saturday saw the Wenlock Olympian Games play host to the second mixed 7's hockey tournament with clubs competing from around the county.
The club entered two teams, a junior U16 team which finished third last year and a senior side which won their event last year.
The U16's won all their games with the exception of an unexpected 1-0 loss to Bridgnorth and beat last year's winners and this years runners up, Ludlow 3-0, winning the tournament on goal difference.
The seniors made a clean sweep of their games, most notably coming back from being 1-0 down to a strong Shrewsbury side to win 2-1.
