Posted by Chris Nightingale on 22 July 2023
Former Telford & Wrekin junior Callum Mackenzie has been called up to the Scotland squad for the EuroHockey Championship II in Dublin on 23-29 July!
With experience playing for Cannock in the National Premier League and currently playing for Wimbledon HC, Callum made his Commonwealth Games Debut last summer in Birmingham 2022, with Scotland finishing 9th overall. Having been selected for the 2021 Great Britain Elite Development Programme Squad, this is another great achievement for Mackenzie on his path to pushing for the GB squad!
Switzerland will be Scotland's first opponents before they meet Italy and Turkey to complete their Pool B matches.
Congratulations Callum, and Good Luck!
