Telford triumph at Stone

A strong mixed team entered the Stone mixed festival with high hopes.
Whilst some teams came with a more relaxed approach to the day, it was clear that others were out for a win.
Good progress through the round robin stage saw Telford pick up a number of good wins leaving us in top spot ahead of the finals. A great shift from the ladies in attack with Chez, Lorna, Jodie an Becky all causing problems for opposition defences whilst Duffer, Aaron 'Steve' , Jon, Kieran and Will ensured that Nathan didn't have too much exposure in goal.
The final put us up against Stafford. A well taken goal by Chez put us in the lead whilst solid keeping from Nathan ensured we kept a clean sheet as we went on to win 3-0.
A great result and another trophy for the cabinet.
