The Challenge Cup is a tournament that for the U15s will take place from 26th-28th July, and the 29th-31st for the U17s. The West Midlands will face a variety of teams who are picked from the respective Performance Centre age groups.
From Telford: Will Gough, Ollie Brannen, Bradley Williams and Tom McKittrick have been selected for the Boys U17 squad, with Roman Randall named as a non-travelling reserve. The Girls U17 squad consists of Saffy Pemberton-Jandu, and Izzy Moore, whilst Lexi Day has been picked for the U15 Girls.
The teams will face various Performance Centres from across the country in a tournament that involves 6, forty-minute games, spanning across 3 days.
Junior Committee Chairman Sunny Sahota said, “It is great to see so many of our current juniors representing the club at a higher level and beyond. It really shows the quality of players that we have and hope to produce in the future. They all deserve this opportunity due to not only their hard work, but the coaches who work with them week in, week out.”
The club wishes all of the players the best of luck for their tournaments.
