The ladies got off to a good start in the Shropshire League with the 1sts winning 8-0 away to Wem goals coming from Rach, Kirsty,Lorna, 2 from Sue and 3 from Chez, Player of the match was Sandra. 2nds also started well with a 2-2 draw at home against Montgomery with goals from Jodie and Charlotte, Player of the match was Lucy (GK)
The men's 1st XI played their first way game of this season against Coventry at Warwick University, winning 5-1 the goals coming from Liam Hennessy 2, Chris Heath, Chris Jones and Dan Davies. They play Bournville at St George's next week, pushback at 12.30pm.
