Jayne Parnham

It’s with deep sadness that we share the loss of Jayne Parnham, a long standing member of our hockey club who has passed away aged 62.
Lifetime club member Jayne was an dedicated player, captain and manager within the ladies section of TWHC.
Jayne also held roles in the Shropshire Ladies League.
Jayne was an extremely kind and generous lady, who always had time for everyone no matter what it was. She would listen intently to you and give you the sound and solid advice you needed. She has played an instrumental part in developing so many juniors through the ladies 2nd team, ultimately where many started there ladies hockey career.
Jayne was a competitive and passionate person, who no matter what, on or off the pitch, looked for a resolution and quite often conjured up one of her cunning plans!
She loved her hockey and was a constant driving force at TWHC giving up a lot of her own time and even helped in making our match teas!
On top of that she was a beautiful and kind lady, who will be sorely missed by all. Not to see or hear her shouting from the side of the pitch, for all those that know her, will leave an empty feeling for all.
Thank you Jane for everything you’ve done from us all at TWHC.
RIP Jayne ❤️ Gone too soon, missed forever.
