ClubMark
The club are pleased to announce that it has achieved Clubmark certification from England Hockey.
A fantastic achievement that the Committee have been working on for some time, and a testiment to the hard work that many people put in behind the scenes to help make the club function, so a big thank you to everyone.
Getting our Clubmark is a pre-requisite for a number of other ventures we are embarking upon. One of those being a plan for our pitch replacement, which will take time, but we need to start planning this.
A sub-committee has already been set up to start looking at Grants, Sponsors, Fundraising, Pitch types, Costs, Timeframes - so if anyone wants to be part of the committee, please get in touch with Alan Parham (07891150306) - it will take a lot of team work to get this moving.
Keep a look out for a number of fund raising initiatives, and needless to say if anyone has any ideas and wants to run something for us, please do get in touch. It won't be sucessful without the whole club behind it.
