Match Report | The second XI took on Wem in a friendly match. Whilst Wem had a lot of pressure, the Telford side kept them at bay through some crucial tackles from Ellen Brown and some excellent saves from goalkeeper Lucy Worrall. Telford managed to capitalise on some one-on-one situations with the Wem goalkeeper, with both Gayle Roberts and Charlotte Machin finding the net. It was an encouraging performance from Telford and Wrekin as several of the regular defenders were unavailable, and a number of players had to play in unfamiliar positions.
The second XI squad at the weekend were: Lucy Worrall, Lara Ogundipe, Sarah McCaigh, Gilly Hartley, Megan Peace, Ellen Brown, Gayle Roberts, |
