Shrek and the swamp gang headed off on a Sunday trek with pitchforks ready to tackle Tamworth.
With a few players missing the squad was a little edgy and to top it off the umpire had not shown up. Shrek dropped his whiteboard and umpired the first 20 minutes . Unfortunately Tamworth broke and got a lucky goal after battering atheist way through defence. Telford controlled the play and passed the ball with ease but struggled to find the net. Jodie Lane finally levelled the score and it was game on!!
Donkey had a few chances but just needed some luck. The fairy godmother played a great ball in to the circle which was put away by Katy Parsons only to be disallowed.
With Telford losing the fairy godmother and the gingerbread man to early valentines cards, Telford fought hard with only 9 players on the pitch for the last few minutes.
Shreks gang have a week to recover and go again after half term with some tough games ahead.
