A great match today for the ladies 3s. Throughout the whole game there was great team work from the girls from start to finish and honestly it was a great game. Both goals achieved today by Jen harvey who after a really tough couple of weeks for her were really deserved. She worked her socks off (even though they were mine...) but it was obvious for the entire team that she worked hard! Katie laffey assisted both of Jens goals, they were truly the dream team for us today. Lucy JC got the last goal within the last ten minutes, a lovely carry into the D followed by a lovely roll out and neatly slotted into the bottom corner - lovely to have Lucy play for us when she gets a moment away from her Nee Noor (ambulance). Some special mentions again for the junior players - over the last couple of weeks I have been part of conversations with both umpires and oppositions where they have mentioned the outstanding standard of our junior players in particular the fresh legs in our team, Martha Franklin, Eliza Brannen and Ellie Lovatt who are a lovely trio to not only have in the ladies 3s but to coach as well. Well done girls, keep up the amazing work.
