A slow but great game for the ladies 3s. A full team of 16 players and everyone worked hard. The first half started slow as the girls got used to Shrewsbury's press but overall the girls worked together to get the goals and once they understood what they needed to do the goals just kept coming! The first goal scored by Gayle assisted by tabi got the ball rolling and gave the team the confidence that they needed. The next 2 goals (assisted by Ava and Eliza) came from one of our newer players to ladies hockey Ellie Lovett who was our man of the match! And the last goal came from Ellie Sutcliffe swiftly passed from Ava Thompson. A great game ahead of the bad weather, I am hopeful the ladies 3s are heading the right way towards promotion!
