A close, but enjoyable game for the first game back for the ladies 3s. Whilst the weather was up and down the play was constant and was close throughout. Our goal came from Ava Thompson assisted by Sarah tilt. Once Sarah passed the ball to Ava, she got her running legs on and carried the ball all the way to the backboard! A big morale boost for us, but not enough to win the game unfortunately. The girls put their all in, and it was noticeable they all worked hard. A big congratulations to Abbie Alford who is still finding her feet in the ladies section and put on a good performance today, so much she secured man of the match which was very well deserved! See you next week ladies, keep up the good quality.
