Telford ladies 3's took on Stone ladies 3's, who are near the bottom of the table. Both teams started well with end to end play, however Telford took the lead by Gayle shortly into the first half, closely followed by a second from Gayle. A third goal slotted home by Eliza followed by a neat finish from Cassie on a short corner took the score to 4-0 to Telford at half time. The second half Stone started fairly aggressively however Telford kept cool using short sharp passes and a slight change in formation. Telford scored another 4 goals in the second half by Ava, Gayle, JC and Eliza. It could have been 9 if Cynthia's great rebound shot on a short corner hadn't been disallowed. A great effort by the whole team who all worked hard to the end. Big thanks to Penny for keeping a clean sheet and Chloe for excellent team management.
