Women's 1st XI Vs Bromsgrove 1

Telford W1s travelled to top of the league’s Bromsgrove who are currently on a 100% winning streak. Once puss and boots picked themselves off the ground within 5 minutes of getting out of the car Telford got match ready. The first half was promising for Telford with most possession however, we couldn’t seem to get the ball in the back of the net. The second half was a spicy thirty five minutes with very questionable behaviour from the opposition. Fear not as Telford had our fairy godmother to show them that Telford are not to be messed with by releasing her inner dragon. Both teams had equal possession, but Bromsgrove kept battling and unfortunately for Telford were able to convert two goal scoring opportunities. The team battled hard with some great play in the middle by Jess Maddocks who maintained a calm and collected attitude and Courtney Lancaster who had bromsgrove firmly in her back pocket and therefore was able to bag herself man of the match. 

This result did not dull the spirits of the team as we got gowned and glammed parting the night away at the club Christmas dinner.
