Men's 3rd XI Vs Finchfield 3

For the final game of the season a 11 man squad travelled to Finchfield. 
Late night cry-offs on friday reduced the squad but each player fit enough to play the whole game we were confident of a nice and settled event. 
Captain Nightingale led the team out to the pitch after a "enjoy the game boys" and "no cards today please" team talk to promptly be given a green after a 'Captain to Umpire' question/education/chat went wrong!!

Telford played a great game with lots of passing, we soon settled into what seemed a slippy pitch and our linking up of passing soon got the rewards.. 

A hattrick to Matt Fox, 2 goals for Luis Parker and Will Thomspon and Chris Nightingale both getting a single each... 
Final result 7-2 win to Telford..

The season ended with the M3s at 5th place of Division 6 North West after being promoted last season which is an excellent result and all 34 players who played this season can be very proud off the season. 

 Post Christmas we had committed to achieve second place which shows how confident we have been this season but too many draws instead of game wins soon cancelled that down..
