| Match Report | The 1st XI suffered a 4 – 3 defeat away against Sutton Coldfield III at the weekend. Telford started well, and had long periods where they dominated possession. A first half individual goal from Sandy Duhra led to the teams going in to the break level at 1 – 1. In the second half, some precise passing between Shirley Hasenauer, Rachel Evans and Lorna Burns saw Telford take the lead. However, Sutton struck back with two goals, one of which was scored whilst Telford and Wrekin were down to 10 players following a harsh yellow card given to Jodie Lane. When back up to full strength, Telford drew level after a short corner strike from Sue Hughes was saved by keeper, only to see Lorna Burns swoop in to score. A final breakaway goal by Sutton saw them take the three points and Telford and Wrekin slip to eighth place in the Midlands Feeder West League.
