| Match Report | A depleted Telford & Wrekin Women's 1s squad travelled to Matlock for their final pre-season game against a side a league higher next season. An equally balanced 1st half saw Matlock take the lead to due to a quick counter attack & end the first half 1-0 to the home side. The 2nd half followed a similar pattern as Telford searches for a goal but as the half carried on the tiring heat took effect on the small 12 player squad of Telford & a quick salvo saw the game end 4-0. The result flattered the home side in what was a far more equal battle than the score line suggests. Bring on the league next week!
