| Match Report | Telford & Wrekin Ladies 1s started their triangular fixture with a tough fixture against North West Prem side Deeside Ramblers. from the first whistle Telford pressed their opponents high up the pitch & eventually the pressure told as they opened up a two goal lead thanks to goals from Zoe Curnow & Chez Lane. Deeside came back hard & utilised their advantage of having an 18 players squad to hit back with a two goal burst in the second half to level the scores. However, this spurred on the tired 12 player squad of Telford & the fighting resolve which saw Captain Jodie Lane score the deciding goal & a well deserced 3-2 win for the Telford & Wrekin Ladies 1s. |
