| Match Report | With so many fixtures being called off, it was good to get this match out of the way. The first half seemed to be relatively even, although it soon became apparent that Stone had a couple of players who do not usually play in the 4th team! Stone broke the deadlock, only for Telford to strike back with a route one goal. Bomber smashed a 16 the full length of the pitch with the pacey Alan able to take a touch before slipping it under the goalie. The second half started with Luke struggling with an injury and Stone stepping up the pace. Alex performed miracles in goal but found Stone had the upper hand with Telford conceding two goals. The game started to get a little tetchy at times, but their were handshakes all round at the end. Final score Telford 4ths 1-3 Stone 4ths. Man of the match - Alex. |
