Playing against an Oswestry team with an ex junior international in the side was never going to be easy. Telford set themselves up to try and restrict Oswestry as best as possible. Although Telford had a couple of shots hit the post, Oswestry had a lot of the ball and scored 9 goals with 7 from penalty corners. Oswestry have difficulty finding umpires and the two they had made some interesting decisions. As most teams have lost by greater margins, keeping Oswestry to under 10 seemed like an achievement.
