Telford 4ths faced Leek in the last game of the day under floodlights. Whilst Telford had plenty of good early chances it was obvious that the Leek goal keeper was going to have a good day. After a string of near misses, Leek took one of their rare opportunities to go 1-0 up. Telford continued to fight back and were rewarded with a well taken penalty corner in which Roger fed alan at the back post. The game then started to get a little scarppy as it went on and the players couldn't get any consistent plays together. On one of their rare breks, Leek forced a penalty corner with 10 minutes to go and converted it. That proved to be the last significant action of the match and saw the team pick up their first defeat of the season. Lost 1-2
